There are no many examples in the literature of fluorescent proteins (FPs) encapsulated in Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs), but we have found the right combination to provide stable FP@MOF materials against temperature and organic solvents, realizing 2-3-fold enhanced device stabilities.
