Vita
Prof. Dr. Albrecht is an Associate professor (PI) at Institute for Materials Chemistry and Engineering, Kyushu University since 2019. He completed his Ph.D. (Doctor) in 2010 at Keio University (Japan). After the Ph.D. he moved to Tokyo Institute of Technology as an Assistant professor and moved to his current position in 2019. He was concurrently working as ERATO (Yamamoto atom hybrid project) group leader and PRESTO researcher during this period.
His group currently conducts research going from the design and preparation of new organic (dendrimer) materials for organic electronics, luminescent materials, nanoparticle synthesis, and supramolecular chemistry. He is also working on organic active materials for Na-ion batteries and developing electrostatic catalysis reactions. These topics are focused on designing organic materials related to photonics and electronics.
