Dr. Pedro B. Coto received his degree in Chemistry and his Ph.D. from the University of Oviedo (Spain). After postdoctoral research in the groups of Prof. M. Olivucci at the University of Siena (Italy), Prof. M. Merchán at the University of Valencia (Spain), and Prof. M. Thoss at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany), he joined the Materials Physics Center (CFM-CSIC) in San Sebastián (Spain) where he is the head of the Theoretical and Computational Chemistry group. His research interests include the investigation of photochemical processes in biological systems and organic molecules and charge transfer and transport processes in new materials with applications to organic photovoltaics and electronics.
