Congratulations to Elisa and Luca for their new paper published in Advanced Photonics Research !!!

BODIPY‐Pt‐Porphyrins Polyads for Efficient Near‐Infrared Light‐Emitting Electrochemical Cells

In this work, they and our colleagues from U. Crete have described the synthesis, characterization and implementation in NIR light emitting electrochemical cells of a series of BODIPY-Pt-porphyrin polyads. They described how the amount of fluorine atoms in the emitters, the efficiency of the intramolecular host-guest system, and the ionic conductivity influence the device performances towards highly efficient NIR sources.

MSCA Individual Fellowship – Erfolg

Dr. Nieddu wird im kommenden September als MSCA-Fellow zu uns stoßen. Er wird an der Entwicklung einer neuen Familie von Bio-Hybrid-LEDs mit hybriden fluoreszierenden Protein-Nanopartikeln arbeiten. Wir freuen uns sehr, bald mit ihm zu arbeiten!!
