On the 9th of July 2024, Sara held an oral presentation at EuChemS 2024 conference, showing her latest advancements on the stabilization of red-emitting fluorescent proteins derivatives for bio-hybrid light-emitting diodes. We are also very happy to share that she received the European Young Chemist Award Silver Medal for the PhD level on the base of her work on natural and artificial fluorescent proteins for lighting applications! We also congratulate all the finalists of this edition for both the PhD and Early career stage and thank the selecting committee, the European Chemical Society and the European Young Chemists´ Network for this prestigious recognition.
