By harnessing heat generated by fluorescent protein-based biophosphors, this project introduces a novel approach to next-generation energy-harvesting devices. These bio-based coatings function as sustainable, energy-efficient photothermal converters, providing a greener solution. Their unique properties enable efficient heat utilization, opening new possibilities for renewable energy applications. After successfully achieving its objectives, the project has now come to an end. This project was supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship from the European Commission.
