Our team, in collaboration with the Chair of Biogenic Polymers at Campus Straubing, has just published a new article in Advanced Materials making the encapsulation of fluorescent proteins in silica particles a simpler and more versatile option for Bio HLEDs. And not only one protein at a time. The method allowed for simultaneous encapsulation of several fluorescent proteins, allowing us to fabricate white emitting devices with record efficiencies.
