Congrats to Mattia and Jesús for the Bioeconomy Innovation Award !!

Mattia and Jesús were recently awarded with the international Bioeconomy Innovation Award to explore new horizons in their research fields: hybrid silica-enzymes and smart microbicides. This is a great opportunity to foster their careers.
As they said: “If someone ever had told us that we would get the opportunity to develop a “saving the planet” project along with top researchers at TUM based on a brainstorm session, we would not have believed it. This Interdisciplinary PostDoc day Bioeconomy Innovation Award we celebrated at TUMCS is making it possible.”

New paper out on Advanced Functional Materials about stable mCherry-based biophosphors!

Erster Interdisciplinary Postdoc Day am TUMCS voller Erfolg

Am 01. Dezember 2022 fand am TUMCS der 1. Interdisciplinary Postdoc Day mit Teilnehmern unterschiedlicher Fachdisziplinen statt. Ziel des als Workshop angelegten Postdoc Days war es, die Entwicklung von neuen, kreativen und interdisziplinären Projektkonzepten zu unterstützen.

Dr. Olivia Amargós Reyes is an EuroTech postdoctoral researcher in our group. She is working on dual functional ionic devices with lighting and photovoltaic functionalities. Here there is a video about her research.
