We are very pleased to welcome our new PhD Student.
Rubén held a dissemination talk for school teachers/students and families about proteins
…the future of a healthy and cheap artificial illumination?
An international collaboration of scientists at institutions including Technische Universität München, Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and Centro de Fisica de Materiales have been named the winner of the Royal Society of Chemistry’s new Materials Chemistry Division Horizon Prize: Stephanie L Kwolek Award.
On the 3rd of June 2021, Sara presented our latest work at E-MRS Spring 2021 with a talk entitled Towards highly stable eco-friendly squaraine-protein phosphors for Bio-HLEDs. She presented promising results obtained in collaboration with ARTIBLED consortium about a novel bio-phosphor for Bio-HLEDs based on red-emitting protein-dye systems.
Time goes bye quickly, but we have achieved a lot over this year! We are growing, building, and getting ready a great teaching and research portfolio. Hope you can join us soon!
Congratulations to Luca, Elisa and Sara for their new contribution published on Advanced Energy Materials!
Recently, Luca, Elisa and Sara provided an extensive and critical overview of emerging biology and photovoltaics, toward the achievement of highly performing and sustainable bio‐based solar‐energy conversion technologies.
TED platform has highlighted Rubén’s TED talk 2019. It is a great opportunity to learn about the future of biophosphors and also to learn Spanish!
Congratulations to Yanyan for the new papers on stabilizing perovskite materials in biogenic matrices for hybrid LEDs
Congratulations to Yanyan for the new papers on stabilizing perovskite materials in biogenic matrices for hybrid LEDs. You can read it the great success in the early view of ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces
We are very pleased to welcome our new PhD Students who will be working on bio-hybrids for energy-related applications.
Welcome Stepanie and Alexander!
Rubén presented the most innovative aspects and results of the FET-OPEN 863170 project ARTIBLED (Engineered ARTIficial proteins for Biological Light-Emitting Diodes) at the Research meets Industry event organized by the European Innovation Council. We hope that this event will help us to further exploit our ideas in the near future.
