Vita
David Gutiérrez Armayor got his Bachelor’s in Chemistry in University of Oviedo, Spain. It was working there where he started his career in science in nanostructured materials and sensing methods under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Francisco Javier García Alonso. He then moved to Donostia to obtain his Master’s in Nanoscience, where he worked at the Polymers and Soft Matter group at Centro de Física de Materiales (Materials physics centre) with a focus on the synthesis of Protein Single-Chain Nanoparticles. In September 2022, he quickly moved to Straubing, to work in his PhD at the TUM under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rubén D. Costa. The main objective of his project is to stabilize fluorescent proteins in order to fabricate highly performing devices for lighting applications.
