Vita
Dr. Youssef Atoini got his BSc in Chemistry in 2011 and his MSc in Molecular and Supramolecular Chemistry in 2013 at the University of Strasbourg, France. During this time, he worked mainly on methodology of organic synthesis for fundamental research and potential biological applications. He performed his PhD at the same University (I.S.I.S.), under the supervision of Prof. Luisa De Cola, on the synthesis and properties of new luminescent hybrid materials, where he graduated in 2017. Afterwards, he did a postdoc in the group of Professor Jean-Marie Lehn (Nobel Prize Laureate 1987) in I.S.I.S., Strasbourg, on a private project with the startup company ALSaTECh (Boston, MA, USA) on potential therapeutic agent for Parkinson’s disease, alongside extensive studies on uranyl based complexes’ synthesis and characterizations. Since September 2020, he is a Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions postdoctoral fellow in the Chair of Prof. Rubén D. Costa, at TUM.
His scientific production his currently highlighted by 23 publications in peer-reviewed journals (150> citations, h-index = 8) and 2 patents.
