Thanks to a fruitful intercontinental collaboration between our laboratories, Albrecht`s lab (Japan), and Applied Nanolayers B.V. (The Netherlands) we have achieved a significant milestone in the development of light-emitting electrochemical cells (LECs). In our recent article (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/adfm.202370209) we develop LECs that combine thermally activated delayed fluorescent dendrimer emitters, biogenic electrolytes, and graphene-based electrodes. One of the standout features of these newly developed LECs is their exceptional stability, which rivals that of other state-of-the-art materials in the field.
The relevance of our breakthrough it is also highlighted by several scientific journal!
